Joining Ultimate Fitness+ for Women was the best decision I made in 2011! My 50th birthday got me motivated to change my life and the staff at this gym has been a big part of keeping me going. I've lost 40 pounds and I still have more to lose, but I know I'll get there. Check this gym out, it's small, friendly and I bet you'll feel right at home like I do.
I decided to take the plunge financially and hire a personal trainer to get in shape, to give me the kick in the butt I need. I belong to Gold's Gym, which I love, but I didn't want a 20-something year old guy training me in front of a bunch of other body builders. I signed up here for the 5-week jump start program and started personal training 3x per week. I LOVE it! I have completed my 5 weeks, and I am now doing unlimited group training. I've lost about 10 pounds and over 20 inches, and I am feeling great! The training kicks my butt every single time and I'm sore as hell after, but I keep going back for more, because I know it's working. The sessions are 30 minutes each, and I can't believe the full-body results I am getting and "feeling" after 30 minutes. And it's very do-able for someone like me who thought I couldn't do something super intense. I am working hard and sweating my butt off within the first 5 minutes, but I keep telling myself that I can get through 30 minutes. And I can, and I do.
